Alisha Thayer

Alisha Thayer is a seasoned Design Director at Crystal Dynamics, with a career spanning over a decade in the gaming industry. Thayer has advanced from roles such as Senior Technical Designer and Lead Technical Designer to their current position, overseeing multidisciplinary teams and advocating for technical design as a recognized discipline. Prior experience includes game design roles at Rockstar Games, focusing on scripting and gameplay systems, and teaching game design at California State University, Chico, where Thayer contributed to student development and led a video game industry simulation class. Thayer holds an M.S. in Applied Computer Graphics and a B.S. in the same field from California State University, Chico. Additionally, Thayer gained international experience as an exchange student in Japan and contributed as a conference associate for the Game Developers Conference.
