Eduardo Navas Merlo

Eduardo Navas Merlo is a Mechanical Engineer and R&D Engineer currently affiliated with the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) since April 2019, focusing on the design and implementation of dual-arm robotic systems, as well as structural mechanical analysis and workspace optimization. Eduardo served as a Guest Researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (ATB) from August 2022 to March 2024 and was a Research Assistant at the Universidad de Valladolid from July 2018 to March 2019, contributing to the ABARNET project on optimizing railway networks through artificial agent algorithms. Eduardo is pursuing a PhD in Robotics Intelligent Systems, Control and Automation from the Universidad de Valladolid, following an MSc in Industrial Engineering and an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
