Hla Hpone Myint

Hla Hpone "Jack" Myint is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy advocacy and strategic relations, currently serving as a non-resident Fellow with the Southeast Asia Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) since May 2024. As the Founding Director of the Myanmar Scholarship Fund and Deputy Regional Director for Mainland Southeast Asia at the US-ASEAN Business Council, Myint has implemented multi-industry policy strategies and maintained strong relationships with Fortune 500 clientele. Previous roles include contributions to The Huffington Post, analysis for Inle Advisory Group on the political landscape of Myanmar, and research internships focusing on elections in South Asia. Myint holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Washington & Jefferson College, with a concentration in Conflict Resolution Studies.
