Michel Giraud

Michel Giraud has extensive experience in plant pathology and agronomy, holding a position at CTIFL since December 1981, where responsibilities included leading programs related to fruit diseases, particularly focusing on fruit trees and nut crops. Notable achievements include establishing the Laboratory of Phytopathology in 1990 and contributing to various national and European working groups on apple scab and other fruit diseases. Prior to CTIFL, Michel Giraud served as a lecturer in Plant Biology at APESA, Institut Agronomique et Vétérinaire Hassan II, from September 1979 to June 1981. Michel Giraud earned a degree in Agronomy with a specialization in crop protection from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Agronomique de Rennes, following preparatory classes at Lycée Blaise Pascal.
