Ryan Kean

Ryan Kean is the current Advisor at CTO Forum. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Technical Strategy and Operations at Kroger from December 2006 to October 2021. In this role, they led development of all enterprise technology and data strategies across Fortune 50 organization with ~450,000-employees throughout the US. Ryan's scope of leadership included driving excellence in 300-person technology team and managing >$50M capital and operating expense budget. Ryan was also accountable for Technology Strategy, Data Strategy and Engineering, Data Analytics and Insights, and Office of the CIO.

Prior to working at Kroger, Ryan Kean was the Technical Manager, Platform Engineering and Hosting Operations at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company from March 1999 to December 2006. Before that, they were an Analyst III, IV at Sumaria Systems, Inc. from June 1997 to March 1999.
