Sossina Tafari

Sossina Tafari is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications and management consulting sectors, currently serving as Managing Director at Tradenet Consulting since 2019. Prior to this role, Sossina held the position of Transaction Advisor at the Ethiopian Communications Authority from February 2020 to February 2022, where policy and business rules for the liberalization of the telecommunications sector were developed. Sossina also served as Chief Operating Officer at BT Group from March 2010 to December 2018, overseeing customer service in infrastructure, wholesale, and retail. Additionally, Sossina founded Tradenet Consulting in 2002 and has held senior roles including Vice President of Business Development and Operations at Denwa Communications and Senior Manager of Operations at Startec Global Communications. Sossina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Penn State University, obtained in 1991.
