Sarah Heatwole

Sarah Heatwole is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching English and science across multiple school districts, including Culpeper County, Spotsylvania County, and Rockingham County Public Schools. Currently serving as an English Teacher at Culpeper County Public Schools since August 2020, Sarah designs curriculum-aligned materials and focuses on writing instruction. Previous roles include managing extensive student records and coaching students to high pass rates in standardized tests. Sarah began their teaching career as a Science Teacher and has also contributed to Gifted Education, emphasizing college and career counseling. Sarah holds a Master of Education from the University of Mary Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Bridgewater College.
