Toby V. Carter

Toby V. Carter is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in critical care and emergency medical services. Currently serving as Director at Cape Fear Valley Health since October 2020, Toby also holds the role of Critical Care Paramedic at Southeastern Health since March 2014, specializing in in-hospital patient care and the interfacility transport of critically ill patients. Previous experience includes serving as a Paramedic at Robeson County EMS from January 2007 to December 2019 and fulfilling various roles at American Medical Response, including Operations Supervisor. Additionally, Toby worked as an EMS Curriculum Coordinator and Adjunct Faculty at Robeson Community College, as well as an Educator and Music Director for Public Schools of Robeson County. With a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Toby combines expertise in both healthcare management and medical services.
