Danielle Irwin

Danielle Irwin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in coastal and marine engineering, project management, and regulatory oversight. Currently serving as Senior Director at Cummins Cederberg since July 2019, Danielle focuses on tidal flood vulnerability and environmental permitting. Danielle held the position of Director at Coastal Systems International, Inc. from September 2015 to June 2019, and previously served as Deputy Director at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, overseeing multiple state-wide regulatory programs. With a robust background in academia as an adjunct faculty member at Florida State College at Jacksonville and a strong foundation in research from roles at prestigious institutions such as Florida State University and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, Danielle holds a Master of Science in Oceanography and dual bachelor's degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of Southern California.
