Arely Martinez Garcia

Arely Martinez Garcia is a Computer Science student at Lehman College, projected to graduate in May 2026. Arely is currently a Software Engineer Fellow at CUNY Tech Prep, where participation in a competitive web development fellowship includes hands-on experience with React, Node + Express, and PostgreSQL. Additional roles include a BASTA Fellow supporting career preparation for first-generation college students, and Club Secretary for the ColorStack x Computer Science Club, maintaining professional communication with faculty and partners. Previous experiences involve a Software Engineer Internship at Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation and participation in programs with Goldman Sachs and Accenture, enhancing technical skills and career exposure. Arely has also contributed to educational initiatives as a college mentor in Girls Who Code, guiding high school students in AI tool development.
