Simon Chan

Simon Chan is currently exploring PhD candidacy at Curtin University since March 2023. In parallel, Chan serves as an Advisor and Technical Director at Bardan Cells, which secured significant federal funding as part of a collaboration with Curtin University for battery cell manufacturing. Additionally, Chan holds similar advisory and technical director roles at InfraNomics Technologies, focusing on energy transformation and sustainable practices. With a background as Co-Founder and former Technical Director at PowerPlus Energy, Chan contributed to the development of Lithium Battery Energy Storage Systems. Previous roles include consultancy in electronic systems engineering and strategic technology management across various companies, including Radlink Communications and nearmap.com. Chan earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Western Australia.
