Stuart Kinner

Stuart Kinner is a prominent academic and researcher specializing in health equity, particularly in the context of justice and adolescent health. Currently serving as a Professor of Health Equity at Curtin University since January 2022, Stuart holds multiple leadership positions, including Head of the Justice Health Unit at the University of Melbourne and Group Leader at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. With a robust academic background, including a PhD in Forensic Psychology and a BA (Hons 1) in psychology from The University of Queensland, Stuart has held various honorary and adjunct professorships across several leading Australian universities. Additionally, Stuart has contributed to the field as a Visiting Professor at the University of British Columbia School of Population and Public Health and has garnered extensive research experience as a former Head of the Justice Health Research Group at the Burnet Institute.
