Richard Jones

Richard Jones is a highly experienced medical professional with a strong background in anaesthetics and clinical leadership. Currently serving as the Clinical Lead for RADAR at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board since April 2021, Richard has held various roles including Consultant Anaesthetist and Clinical Director at Cwm Taf Local Health Board since July 2006. Additionally, Richard chaired the Welsh Acute Deterioration Network at Public Health Wales from March 2017 to January 2023 and served as Assistant Medical Director at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board from July 2013 to March 2017. Richard Jones obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from The University of Edinburgh between 1991 and 1996 and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) since 2001.
