Kristine Joy Taway

Kristine Joy Taway is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the PH SOC Team Lead at CyberOne since March 2023. Previously, Kristine held various leadership roles at Secon from January 2019 to March 2023, including Incident Response Team Lead, where responsibilities included overseeing 24x7 incident response processes, and Technical Account Manager, focusing on enhancing clients' cybersecurity maturity. Additional experience includes working as a Security Engineer, assessing incidents and providing security solutions, as well as a Subject Matter Expert at Avaya, where Kristine monitored team performance and assisted with operational dynamics. Kristine began a career in technical support at Avaya, progressing from Tier 1 Service Desk Engineer to Tier 2 and then to a Subject Matter Expert role. Kristine holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Batangas State University.
