Anil Merchant

Anil Merchant is a seasoned product leader with extensive experience in the autonomous vehicle and technology sectors. Currently serving as Head of Product at Cyngn since May 2024, Anil focuses on developing autonomous vehicle solutions for industrial applications. Previously, as Chief Product Officer at Automotus, Anil oversaw the complete product portfolio strategy and execution. Anil also led significant revenue growth at Lacuna Technologies while driving market expansion and product launches. As a former Senior Product Manager at drive.ai, Anil managed product development across various autonomous vehicle verticals. Additionally, Anil founded and served as CEO of SocialDrv, successfully scaling the ride-sharing company before its exit. Anil's career began at Broadcom as a Principal Software Engineer, where expertise was developed in full-stack software solutions and customer support. Anil holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University and UC Irvine, respectively.
