Massoud Toussi

Massoud Toussi is a distinguished professional in the field of real world evidence and epidemiology, currently serving as Vice President and Global Head of Real World Evidence at Cytel since August 2023. Toussi holds the position of Editor-in-Chief for the Epidemiology Open Access Journal since February 2016. Previously, Toussi has held various leadership roles at IQVIA and IMS Health, focusing on real world evidence, health economics, and outcomes research. With extensive experience ranging from managing clinical operations to developing epidemiology centers of excellence, Toussi has significantly contributed to the advancement of research methodologies and business strategies in the pharmaceutical industry. Educational credentials include dual Executive MBAs from UQAM and Université Paris Dauphine, a Ph.D. in Medical Informatics from Université Paris 13, and an M.D. from the University of Medical Sciences.
