Elaine V. Jones

Elaine Jones has extensive experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Chair at Gritstone bio since May 2020, where the focus is on developing innovative immunotherapies for cancer and infectious diseases. In addition to this role, Elaine is a Director on the Board of CytomX Therapeutics and NextCure, as well as an Independent Board Director at Own Firm, all positions held since May 2019. Elaine's prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Pfizer Ventures from December 2008 to April 2019, and holding partner and VP roles at EuclidSR Partners and SR One, respectively. Elaine holds a Ph.D. in Virology/Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science from Juniata College.
