Lior Faigon

Lior Faigon is a Bioinformatics Scientist at CytoReason since May 2022, with a strong background in biology and bioinformatics. Prior experience includes serving as a PhD Candidate at the Weizmann Institute of Science from October 2016 to May 2022, where Lior modeled population growth of chaotic systems and analyzed genetic variation using Python. Lior also worked as a lab technician and bioinformatician at Prof. Ziv Reich's lab, conducting analyses on multi-omics data, and developed innovative pipelines for transcriptomics applicable to non-model organisms. Additionally, Lior contributed as a popular science writer for the Davidson Institute of Science Education, publishing 19 articles aimed at general audiences. Lior holds a Master of Science in Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
