Christopher Olaes is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience spanning over three decades in various roles. Currently serving as Director on the Board of Directors at D3 Technologies since June 2017, Christopher Olaes contributes to the Government Security Committee. In addition, Christopher Olaes has been a Vessel Planner at OOCL since May 1995, overseeing the planning of container ship operations at the Long Beach Container Terminal. A retired Captain from the U.S. Navy Reserve, Christopher Olaes completed 30 years of commissioned service, with active duty from 1988 to 1992. Previous roles include serving as an Outside Director on the Board of Directors for SeaSpace Corporation, Wharfinger at the Port of San Diego, and Merchant Marine Officer with American Maritime Officers. Christopher Olaes holds a B.S. in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
