Ørjan Ellingvåg

Ørjan Ellingvåg is an experienced photojournalist with a career spanning several decades, currently working at Tellus Images since 1997, focusing on current events and photo documentaries across Europe. As the owner and stringer photographer for Dagbladet since 1998, Ørjan serves as the US photo correspondent based in New York, covering significant news stories in the Americas, a role also held for Dagens Næringsliv since 2000. Previous experience includes photography and editorial roles at Klassekampen and Verdens Gang, with freelance work ranging from crime reporting to local politics and art. Ørjan's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Photo Journalism from Norsk Pressefotografskole and further studies at Volda University College and Arbeiderbevegelsens Folkehøgskole.
