Israel Olu

Israel Olu currently serves as an Activity Associate for the USAID Africa Trade and Investment Activity at DAI since January 2025, following a tenure as a Customer Service Representative at Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission and a USG People Intern at DAI. As the Founder of The Genesis Models since September 2021, Israel has spearheaded organizational initiatives, including meeting facilitation and material preparation, leading to significant collaborations with Howard University. Previous roles include instructing students at Reconstruction US, volunteering with SOME, and coordinating diaspora engagement at the Young African Leadership Initiative. Israel holds a Master of Arts in International Development from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Political Science from Howard University.
