Lizzy Banda

Provincial Manager at DAI

Lizzy Banda serves as the Provincial Manager for the USAID Local Impact Governance Project at DAI, overseeing governance initiatives across 15 districts in Zambia's Eastern Province. Concurrently, Lizzy holds roles as a Peer Reviewer for the Zed Research Journal and as a Dissertation Supervisor at the University of Lusaka. At the Local Government Training Institute and Mulungushi University, Lizzy lectures on various topics related to development planning. Previous experience includes a position as a Climate Change Lecturer at Mukuba University and extensive work as a District Planning Officer with the Ministry of Local Government, where significant contributions were made to socio-economic planning and stakeholder engagement. Lizzy's educational credentials include a Master of Science in Spatial Planning from the University of Zambia and a Postgraduate Diploma in Urban Management Tools for Climate Change from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
