Lutz Beck

Lutz Beck is an experienced Chief Information Officer currently serving at Daimler Truck North America since September 2018, overseeing IT for autonomous driving initiatives. Previously, Lutz held the position of CIO at Daimler Trucks Asia from August 2012 to August 2018, also serving as CIO for Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation and leading IT and process design. Earlier roles include Executive Director of IT Management at Daimler AG, where responsibilities included IT finance, procurement, and business intelligence, as well as board memberships in various Daimler Group Services. Lutz's career began at KPMG Consulting, managing ERP/SAP template implementation across Asia Pacific and Africa. Lutz holds degrees in Business Administration from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and Management from EPFL and Tilburg University, alongside additional management education from INSEAD Singapore.
