Nacosia Mitchell

Nacosia Mitchell currently serves as a Teacher Assistant at the Dallas Independent School District since January 2023. Previously, Nacosia worked as a Youth Program Coordinator at Phalanx Family Services from 2016 to 2018, focusing on recruiting transitional age youth and facilitating conflict resolution and classroom management. Nacosia has experience as a Course Instructor at Enterprising Kids, Inc., promoting leadership and money management skills to youth. From March 2001 to August 2006, Nacosia coordinated programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago. Nacosia holds an Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Education and Psychology from the University of North Texas at Dallas, as well as educational experience from DePaul University and Prairie State College.
