Barbara Thomas Lemmon is a trustee at the Dallas Museum of Art. Barbara was previously an associate curator at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art from February 2011 to February 2016. Before that, they were a curatorial consultant at the Denver Art Museum from August 2008 to February 2011, and a Theodore Rousseau Fellow at the Metropolitan Museum of Art from August 2008 to June 2010. Barbara has also worked as a research assistant at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, from September 2000 to August 2004, and at the Saint Louis Art Museum from June 1999 to August 2000.
Barbara Thomas Lemmon has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Art Theirtory from The Institute of Fine Arts, NYU, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Art Theirtory from The Institute of Fine Arts, NYU, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Art Theirtory and French Literature from Washington University in St. Louis.
