Omar Almarzooqi

Omar Almarzooqi has extensive experience in information technology and security, currently serving as SVP of Information Technology at Daman - National Health Insurance Company since October 2015. Throughout this tenure, Omar has held multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of IT Security and Networks, and has focused on fostering a quality-conscious organizational culture while implementing IT strategies aligned with company objectives. Previous positions include Manager and Section Head in IT Security and Telecom, where Omar effectively improved departmental performance and ensured service level agreement compliance. Earlier career experiences included roles at Abu Dhabi Media as IT Security Team Leader and at GAL in senior IT security positions, along with work as a Network Security Specialist at Dubai Holding. Education includes a Master of Business Administration in IT Management from Coventry University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Security from United Arab Emirates University.
