EV Thermal Management Emerging Technologies at Dana

Farbod Vakili possesses extensive experience in thermal management systems and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) within the automotive and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving as a Committee Member for the Thermal Management Systems Symposium at SAE International since March 2024, Farbod has been involved with Dana Incorporated since September 2017 in various capacities, including roles focused on electric vehicle (EV) thermal management technologies, where recognition was received as a 2021 Innovation Award recipient for outstanding contributions. Prior expertise includes wind turbine blade optimization at New Leaf and efficiency optimization in thermal power generation at Monenco Consulting Engineers. Farbod holds a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University, completed in 2016.
