Ulla Balle serves as a Blended Finance Senior Advisor at Folkekirkens Nødhjælp (DanChurchAid) since May 2023. Prior experience includes key roles at FSD Kenya from October 2014 to March 2023, where Ulla held positions including Chief Operating Officer and Enterprise Finance Lead, focused on developing partnerships with financial institutions to enhance SME finance. Ulla's earlier roles include SME Resident Adviser at African Banking Corporation, teaching finance and business subjects at Roskilde Business College, and working as a Credit Consultant for various banks in Kenya and Tanzania. Ulla holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Copenhagen Business School and multiple diplomas in education and banking from respected institutions.
