Maritza Liaw

Maritza Liaw is an experienced investment professional with a focus on sustainable technology and finance. Currently serving as a Partner at NGP since September 2021, Maritza is dedicated to funding innovative companies that address climate change. Previously, Maritza held the position of Chief Financial Officer at TreeHouse - The Home Upgrade Company in 2018, and was a Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers from 2010 to 2015, where investments centered on fast-growing companies seeking capital. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Project Finance at Naturener USA, where Maritza developed and financed utility-scale wind farms, and as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. Educational credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School and dual Bachelor's degrees in Science, Technology, and Society, and Economics from Stanford University.
