Advisor, Human Rights And Sustainable Development at Danish Institute for Human Rights

Kate Griffiths is an experienced professional in the field of human rights and sustainable development, currently serving as an Advisor at the Danish Institute for Human Rights since October 2024. Previously, Kate held multiple roles at the Australian Human Rights Commission from April 2019 to October 2024, including Project Lead for the National Anti-Racism Strategy and Convenor of the Human Rights and Climate Change Working Group. Kate's background also includes positions at UNDP, where contributions were made as a Content Manager and Intern focused on Sustainable Development Goal 16, as well as experience in various administrative and support roles in organizations such as Legal Aid NSW and the Welfare Rights Centre. Kate holds a Master's degree in Human Rights and Multiculturalism from the University of South-Eastern Norway and a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from UNSW.
