Simon Durmus Kay

Simon Durmus Kay has extensive experience in the fields of migration, integration, and humanitarian aid. Currently serving as a Development Consultant at the Danish Red Cross in the migration and refugee section, Simon has held various roles including Administrative Coordinator at Frederiksberg Kommune and Project Assistant in integration initiatives. Previous experience includes positions as a Communication and Analysis Assistant for the Danish Red Cross and Program Coordinator intern at Plan International Denmark. Simon holds a Master’s degree in Anthropology and a Bachelor's degree in Social Anthropology and Human Rights Studies from Lund University, along with additional studies in Medical Anthropology and Statistics at the University of Copenhagen. Additionally, Simon has a vocational degree in boat building.
