Jesper Steen Andersen

Jesper Steen Andersen is a seasoned media analyst currently working at DR - Danmarks Radio since October 2024. Previously, Jesper held multiple roles at Moodagent, including Head of Music Data and Lead Data Scientist from April 2018 to October 2024. Jesper's early career included a position as a Specialkonsulent at the Royal School of Library and Information Science, where an analysis of LinkedIn profiles of graduates was conducted. Jesper completed a PhD at the Royal School of Library and Information Science, focusing on the use of data and digital techniques for music analysis. Other roles include Project Manager for communication at LARM Audio Research Archive and Research Responsible at Kristeligt Dagblad. Jesper's responsibilities also extended to cultural statistics and data processing during tenure at Kulturministeriet. Jesper holds a Master's degree in Modern Culture studies from the University of Copenhagen.
