Sambit Sahoo

Sambit Sahoo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in franchise operations and business development in the retail sector. Currently serving as the Head of Franchise Operations at Danube Group since May 2017, Sambit is responsible for recruiting and onboarding new franchisees through various marketing strategies and conducting market analysis. Prior to this role, Sambit held several positions at Landmark Group from May 2013 to April 2017, including Manager Franchise Business Development, where significant contributions were made to the expansion of franchise territories and the optimization of retail operations across multiple countries. Earlier experience includes serving as Store/Area Manager at Bharti Retail Limited (Easyday) from January 2010 to April 2013, overseeing sales and operations for a large compact hypermarket. Sambit holds a PGDM (MBA) in Retail Marketing & Merchandising from SCMS Group of Institutions and a Bachelor of Technology in Industrial Biotechnology from Bharath University.
