Michael Marconi

Michael Marconi serves as the Chief Product & Tech Officer at Daphne since January 2023, leading the development of innovative platforms for digitising and distributing alternative assets. As the Founder of Superfonik, established in October 2020, Marconi created a digital audio entertainment platform specifically for children. Previously, Marconi co-founded Duco, a FinTech platform that assists banks and hedge funds with complex data management from July 2010 to January 2018, overseeing product discovery, design, and engineering. At Trafigura Limited, Marconi functioned as Lead Architect from June 2007 to July 2010, focusing on enterprise architecture and programme management, and also provided consulting services to re-engineer market risk assessment systems. Earlier experience includes consultancy roles at M&G Investments and leadership in the Commodities IT stream at Standard Bank Plc. Marconi's educational background includes degrees from the University of Cape Town and scholarships at London Business School and UCL, with a primary focus on technology and computer science.
