Joyce Hammel

Joyce Hammel is an accomplished fundraising and strategic consulting professional with extensive experience in higher education and philanthropy. Currently serving as the Executive Director for Western Region Advancement at Dartmouth College since June 2017, Joyce has held multiple leadership positions within the institution, including Interim Executive Director and Associate Director of Leadership Giving. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director at CCS from August 2015 to June 2017, where Joyce provided on-site campaign direction and consulting services to various organizations across New England. Earlier roles included Assistant Director of the Parents and Grandparents Fund at Dartmouth College and Associate Director of Development at Green Mountain Valley School. Joyce holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Psychology from St. Lawrence University, completed in 1986.
