Ashok Kalra is the Head of Analytics and Insights at The Economist since September 2018. In addition, Ashok serves as a Data Science Salon Ambassador and is part of the 3AI Change Maker Circle, both roles started in March 2024, focusing on promoting innovation in AI, machine learning, and data science. Previous experience includes roles in digital marketing and web analytics at Fidelity International, product management at Indiamart Intermesh Limited, and software engineering at Array Technologies Ltd., as well as an internship at Deloitte Consulting. Ashok's educational background includes an Executive Program in Data Analytics from the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak, a PG Certification in Big Data Analytics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, an MBA from Delhi Technological University, and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
