Rafia Aqil

Rafia Aqil is a seasoned professional with a strong background in engineering and solution architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Engineer in Field Engineering at Databricks since December 2023, Rafia focuses on demonstrating Databricks features and managing customer escalations. Prior experience includes founding Solutions Architect at involve.ai, where Rafia conducted proof of concept sessions and engaged in key customer interactions, utilizing tools such as SnowFlake and AWS. Rafia also has experience as a Software Engineer at RBC, where web applications were developed for data accessibility using IBM BlueMix and Java. Rafia holds a Master's degree in Information Systems & Data Science and an Honours Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, both from the University of Toronto, as well as a diploma in Computer Systems and a degree in Digital Communication from Sheridan College.
