Béibhin Gallagher

Béibhin Gallagher has had work experience at two different companies. From October 2018 to July 2020, they worked as an Associate Editor at Dataminr, a tech company specializing in using social media to locate breaking news stories for clients worldwide. In this role, Béibhin was responsible for writing and creating real-time news alerts, editing and proofreading content, and researching and fact-checking details on ongoing current events. Following this, from February 2018 to May 2018, they served as a Research Intern at the Centre for Cross-Border Studies, a think-tank focused on cross-border cooperation in Ireland. Béibhin'sresponsibilities included conducting research on the relationship between conflict and Brexit-associated re-bordering and seeking connections and organizations involved in cross-border cooperation and peace-building.

Béibhin Gallagher began their education at University College Dublin in 2013 where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Politics & International Relations. Béibhin completed their undergraduate studies in 2017. Following this, they attended Amsterdam University College from 2015 to 2016 as part of an Erasmus Year Abroad program. During this time, they focused on International Relations and Politics. In 2017, Béibhin furthered their education at Utrecht University, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Conflict Studies and Human Rights, concluding their studies in 2018.
