Zia Mahboob

Zia Mahboob, Ph.D., P.Eng., currently serves as Chief of Stress Engineering at De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited, where responsibilities include work on Part 25 Transport and Part 23 Normal Category aircraft. Previous roles at De Havilland include Senior Engineering Specialist and Engineering Professional, focusing on stress engineering and leading teams for the DHC-8 aircraft. Additionally, Zia Mahboob holds a professorship at Centennial College in the School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science, teaching various aerospace-related courses and supervising research in additive manufacturing and polymer seals.
