Merel Smit

Merel Smit is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in audit and accounting roles. Currently serving as a Senior Assistant Accountant Controle at de Jong & Laan since January 2023, Merel previously held positions as a Senior Assistant Accountant Audit and Assistant Accountant Audit at Flynth adviseurs en accountants from January 2020 to December 2022. Prior to that, a notable travel experience in Southeast Asia occurred in late 2019, alongside several key roles in student organizations and hospitality, including financial officer positions at Studievereniging Check and G.O.D.D. Fortuna Vitrea.
