Kelvin Summoogum

Kelvin Summoogum serves as the Chair and President of MiiHealth since August 2024 and holds the position of Honorary Associate Professor in Healthy Ageing and AI at De Montfort University. As Group CEO of MiiCare since March 2018, Kelvin leads initiatives in geriatric care utilizing AI, IoT, and blockchain technologies to enhance elderly independence. Previous roles include a Doctoral Researcher in Machine Learning and AI at the University of Kent, and various management consultancy positions in Smart Cities across Bristol, Glasgow, and London. Kelvin's early career featured a focus on Intelligent Transport Systems at Medway Council and research in Supply Chain and Logistics at the University of Greenwich. Academic credentials include a Doctoral Researcher designation from the University of Kent and an MSc in Information and Communications Technology from the University of Greenwich, alongside a BEng in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Mauritius and a Health Innovation Executive Programme from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
