Floortje Vermeer

Floortje Vermeer is an experienced art program coordinator currently working at De Regenboog Groep since April 2023, where the focus is on supporting individuals in social poverty through art initiatives. Vermeer also holds a position in concept development for the Urban Ecology Lab at Waag, aimed at empowering community engagement for a fair and inclusive future. As a board member of Cascoland, involvement includes action research and participatory urban development efforts. Prior roles include support and advising the participation council at De Regenboog Groep and event coordination for BYCS, a social enterprise promoting cycling in urban settings, and VERS Film & TV, fostering connections between established and emerging filmmakers. Vermeer has an educational background in communication science and media studies, complemented by recent training in urban innovation.
