Charles McCravy

Charles McCravy is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in computer systems, consulting, and technical support. Since September 2011, Charles has served as an Advanced Computer Technician at Decatur City Schools, focusing on Windows imaging, VoIP management, and software evaluation. Prior to this role, Charles was Vice-President and Secretary at Scoles Computer Services, LLC, where responsibilities included computer repair and networking. Charles' extensive consulting experience includes positions at The Consulting Group, Inc. and Sanmina-SCI, where Charles supported HR and payroll systems while acting as a liaison between technical and non-technical users. A foundational career began in software analysis and operating systems, starting in 1978 at Dun & Bradstreet Software, followed by various roles that laid the groundwork for expertise in HR systems and technical operations. Charles holds a Certificate in COBOL Programming from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and has completed various other educational courses relevant to computing and business.
