Julie Leopold

Julie Leopold is an Associate Attorney at Dechert LLP, a position held since September 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Legal Extern for the Federal Public Defender and a Legal Intern at the U.S. Department of Labor. Julie also completed a Judicial Externship for United States Magistrate Judge Joe L. Webster at the U.S. District Courts and worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Erika Wilson at the University of North Carolina School of Law. Additional roles include a Summer Legal Intern at the NC Department of Justice and teaching Social Studies at Northern High School and North Central High School. Julie holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of North Carolina School of Law and degrees in Middle/Secondary Education from Butler University.
