Matthias Kerbusch

Matthias Kerbusch is a Partner in the Financial Services Group at Dechert LLP in Luxembourg, specializing in alternative investment funds and regulatory matters since October 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Counsel, Senior Advisor, and Associate in the Investment Fund department at Clifford Chance from August 2012 to October 2022, focusing on the establishment and restructuring of Luxembourg-based investment funds. Matthias Kerbusch has also gained valuable international experience through internships at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Uruguay, the European Parliament, and the Permanent Representation of Germany at the United Nations in Geneva. Academically, Matthias Kerbusch holds a Master of Laws in International and European Law from Universität des Saarlandes, alongside degrees in Politics and Governance of the EU from The London School of Economics and Political Science, European Studies from Sciences Po, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UCL.
