Shuyan (Susie) Sun is an experienced attorney specializing in structured finance and securitization transactions. Currently serving as an Associate at Dechert LLP since May 2022, Shuyan has previously held Associate positions at Richards, Layton & Finger and has garnered diverse legal experience through roles such as Student Attorney at the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic, Law Clerk at Scarlett, Croll & Myers, P.A., and Legal Intern at the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City. Early research roles at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Shenzhen University provided a solid foundation in scientific analysis and data interpretation.
