Richard Luck

Richard Luck serves as Directing Staff at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, focusing on campaign planning for the Advanced Command & Staff Course since December 2023. Previously, Richard gained extensive experience in the Royal Air Force from September 2019 to November 2023, including roles as a Puma OEU Pilot and JHC Aviation Advisor for the Watchkeeper Force, and earlier as a Directing Staff member at the Defence Academy. Richard's career spans over three decades in the RAF, including senior leadership positions where Richard commanded helicopter squadrons and served as a Senior Air Advisor. Prior experience includes strategic and marketing roles at AgustaWestland, contributing to military and government rotary aircraft initiatives. Richard holds a Master's degree in Defence Relations from King's College London and a psc(j) from the Defence Academy of the UK.
