Tara McArthur

Tara McArthur, MHRD, SPHR, sHRBP, SDEI, is a seasoned human resources professional currently serving as the Deputy Executive Director for the Total Force Directorate at the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) since April 2023, overseeing a comprehensive range of civilian and military HR programs. Previous roles include Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program Manager at the United States Department of the Air Force, where leadership of a cross-functional team enhanced D&I initiatives, and various strategic HR positions across Department of Defense entities, including Chief of the Human Resources Division at United States Africa Command. With a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Florida State University and a Master of Arts in Human Resources Development from Webster University, Tara McArthur combines extensive experience in HR policy, workforce development, and budget management.
