Sarah Thomas

Sarah Thomas, PMP, currently serves as the Business Operations Branch Chief for the PM National Industrial Security Systems at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). Since February 2024, Sarah has supported the DCSA Deputy Program Executive Officer with portfolio-level tasks related to acquisition and program management for major IT programs. Prior to this role, Sarah worked as an IT Project Manager at DSA from January 2022 to February 2024, leading initiatives to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Sarah's experience includes serving as a Project Manager at Marine Corps Systems Command, where negotiation skills led to significant cost savings. Additionally, Sarah held an Associate position at Booz Allen Hamilton, facilitating critical program outcomes for a major Health IT acquisition program, and was a Senior Acquisition Consultant at Herren Associates, Inc. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Virginia Tech, earned in 2008.
