George Waldron

George Waldron is an experienced professional currently serving as the HR Assurance Lead at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since May 2023. Prior to this role, Waldron held positions as Corporate Business Manager at the Cabinet Office from April 2022 to May 2023, and Shift Manager at Amazon from March 2021 to April 2022. Waldron began a scientific career as a Scientific Officer at The Institute of Cancer Research from January 2020 to March 2021, and also completed a summer internship there in June 2018 focused on researching genetic risks of breast cancer. Additionally, Waldron worked as a private tutor from March 2016 to June 2018, enhancing communication and presentation skills while managing a tutoring schedule alongside university responsibilities.
